Design & Planning
Most electrical dramas are baked in before a sparky ever sets foot on site. Bring me in at design stage and it gets caught while it's still lines on paper:
- Plan review & markup
- Lighting & power layouts
- Circuit & load planning
- Product & fitting selection
Cheaper to move a light on a drawing than in a finished wall.
SYNQ also understands that builders need pricing quickly to keep projects moving. That is why quotes are prioritised and returned as soon as possible. Typically within 24–48 hours and no later than four business days.
On the Tools
This is the part of the job where most sparkies go quiet. Late to rough-in, a different bloke at fit-off, and you chasing updates in between. Here's what you get instead:
Rough-in & fit-off: Same sparky at both stages, back on site already knowing where every cable runs. Nothing gets lost between them.
Switchboards: New installs, upgrades and relocations - handled.
Data, TV & Automation: CAT6, media walls, smart switching and the rest of what your client saw on Instagram. One trade covers it all.
Trade coordination: I work around your trades, not the other way round. Need to shuffle my stage to keep your program moving? That's a phone call, not a drama.
Progress updates: At every stage, sent before you'd think to call. You'll never ring around to find out where the electrical's at.
Handover
Plenty of sparkies are great blokes right up until the final invoice clears. Then the paperwork's missing, the phone rings out, and the defect list is somehow your problem. Not how it works here:
Testing & certification: Every circuit we touch gets tested and documented properly.
CCEWs & compliance: Certificates issued on completion, not chased for weeks after. Your handover file is ready when the client is.
Defects & warranty: The 90-day defect call gets answered like the first enquiry did. My name's on the job, I back the work after I'm paid for it.
Line stays open: The number that answered your first enquiry still answers a year later. As long as SYNQ's trading, the work's backed and the questions are free.
Still My Responsibility
Level 2 work, aircon, solar and battery need specialist licences, and I'm not going to pretend mine covers them. What I've got instead: a short list of specialists I'd put on my own house, booked and run through SYNQ so it's still one call for you:
LVL 2 ASP: Through a licensed Level 2 ASP I work with directly. Overhead, underground, upgrades and metering, coordinated by me.
Air conditioning: A licensed refrigeration tech handles the splits and ducted. I run the wiring and the coordination so it lands as one scope, not two trades to chase.
Solar & battery: An accredited installer does the install. My three years in solar means I speak the language and stay across the job.
Every one of them held to the standard I hold myself. One number, one quote, one bloke responsible for the lot.
As SYNQ adds tickets in-house, this list gets shorter.
